In our Jaipur workshop, we believe that modern digital tools and historic handcrafted arts should not exist in isolation. This article takes you on a deep dive into the design and craftsmanship process of our latest fandom collectibles.
From Pixels to Clay: The Sculpting Process
Every piece starts with digital 3D modeling. We focus on low-poly and geometric structures to give our figures a signature high-end aesthetic. Rather than copying screen designs exactly, we reinterpret them as modern abstract art. We adjust lines, geometric facets, and weight distributions until they fit on your desk perfectly.
The Art of the 3D Print
We use high-fidelity, industrial-grade PLA and SLA printers. Printing a single Vader helmet or Grogu figure takes between 12 to 24 hours of continuous layer-by-layer deposition. We carefully tune layer height, print temperature, and retraction settings to ensure smooth surfaces and clean angles.
Hand-Finishing: The Jaipur Touch
Printing is only half the battle. Once off the build plate, each model goes through multiple stages of hand-sanding, priming, and detailed painting. We use local paints and techniques to give our products their rich, matte textures and metallic gold gradients. It's this fusion of technology and tradition that turns a simple print into a premium desk artifact.
